Job Description:
Role:
- Interfaces with test manager, SMEs, Business and development team to ensure the test deliverables are delivered as per release timelines
- Participates in release level meetings for requirement scope validation, planning and review
- Manages QA scope, timelines and deliverables as per schedule
- Works with the team and ensure proper task allocation
- Review/Approve test deliverables
- Timely escalation of issues for resolution
- Defect Management
- Provide periodical reports on test progress
- Provide test completion report with suggestions and recommendations for go-live
Skill and Experience Details:
- Test Automation-Should be capable to understand the underlying technology on the various automation tools. Should be capable to evaluate the best tool to the client. Should be capable to create the required automation framework to the client.
- Web Testing-Should have good knowledge concepts of UI validations, GUI features etc. Concepts of Globalisation and Localization testing will be an added advantage
- Application Testing-Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like Unit Integration, System, Acceptance, Regression testing and should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases. Should understand Test Plans, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Orthogonal Array Tool. Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliability analysis effectively with DFA tool.
- Manual Testing-Understand the business requirements, writer test cases, ananlyse BR, use cases
- Application Testing-Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops and executessoftware test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Works on problems of limited scope, through usage of standard programming concepts and principles. Works under high supervision/guidance with frequent review of accomplished objectives. Expected to learn on the job towards developing domain knowledge along with technical/proprietary skills.
