We are looking for a Project Manager (SharePoint, Prince2) for a multinational Institution in Bonn/Germany. Our client is a multinational organisation/English-speaking environment.

TASKS

  • Execute the planning and delivery of Collaboration Platform project, to an agreed schedule and budget, adhering to the PRINCE2 project management methodology
  • Interface regularly to the SharePoint super-user community, the SharePoint Operations Team
  • Develop Work Packages, project documentation, project plans and other required documentation Provide expert management of day-to-day progress and operational aspects of the project
  • Provide regular reporting to the Project Board and the Manager IT
  • Manage and control the overall scope of the project
  • Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities, within the limits of authority
  • Review and approve project deliverables

Expected Deliverables

  • Delivery to the client's satisfaction of the project
  • PRINCE2 Project Artifacts: for example, Project Brief, Project Initiation Documentation, Project Plan, Risk Log, End-stage reports, etc.

Knowledge and Skills

  • A minimum of ten years of IT project management experience including successfully managing the delivery of large and complex IT projects, to the satisfaction of the client;
  • Additional experience in systems development or other IT related areas of over five years;
  • Expert knowledge of a recognised IT project management methodologies such as PRINCE2;
  • Strong and demonstrable SharePoint 2010 project management experience;
  • Knowledge of a recognised IT procedure library such ITIL;
  • Demonstrable negotiation skills;
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language;
  • Excellent technical writing skills. Ability to document complex business processes and requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Must be results-oriented, customer-focused and responsive, with a highly professional manner;
  • Must be a self-starter, able to manage his/her own time and dependencies effectively to deliver high quality documents according to the time frames agreed with client and escalating issues to the responsible manager as appropriate.
