Web Architect - Digital - Contract - German Speaking
A global sportswear brand is currently recruiting for a web architect for a range of digital projects.
Based in Herzo (near Nuremburg) Germany, the web architect will be responsible for the Solution Design & Architecture of new CMS, E-commerce and SOLR projects.
The successful candidate will come from a strong programming background (PHP, HTML, CSS, .NET, JavaScript) and will be tasked with assessing business requirements and design new solutions based on a deep knowledge of standard technologies.
The Web Architect will also focus on concepts for software engineering, architecture principles and standards whilst developing data and integration architecture as well as the roadmap for marketing projects.
They will possess a deep understanding of consumer facing digital solution suite of Web, social, mobile, gaming, interactive, and CRM.
Other key responsibilities include:
-Keep up to date with emerging technologies, market trends, and consider their potential impacts on the Enterprise, its architecture and roadmaps
-Governance & Quality Control
-Ensure the solution quality, as per set standards
-Contribute to implementation, optimization and evolution of the EA processes, method, principles, standards and artefacts
-Execute assigned tasks independently, with a high degree of self-organisation and goal orientation
-In Depth digital domain expertise and landscape background
-Hands on MS SQL, Couch base database
- (API) Application programming interface and Web services
-Business & System analysis on complex integration
-Excellent communication skills.
Speaking German is a bonus, as is experience working for commercial retail brands.
