Our client is a global Network Equipment Provider.
For one of their Mobile Broadband projects, they are looking for 3 Hardware Test Engineers to be based in Dusseldorf.
The scope is Hardware Test Mobile Broadband Networks
The project definition:
Test support of Hardware developers by verification of prototypes by fulfilling the following tasks:
- The modification of the FCTF HW test specification
- The implementation of the FCTF HW test including:
- Signal-Integrity Tests
- HW Functional Tests
- EMC-Tests (optional)
- Reliability Tests (Thermal Cycling, Life Tests, etc)
- Electrical Compliancy Tests
- Performance Tests
- Fault Analysis and Troubleshooting and the implementation
of HW tests
- The creation of the FCTF test reports in alignment with the FCT schedule and quality requirements.
Required skills
- Experience in digital Hardware design and test
- Hardware knowledge of Ethernet infrastructure base-T) at board level
- Desirable: Knowledge of CPRI and OBSAI standards
- Experience in using logic- and spectrum analyzers, high speed oscilloscopes and Microprocessor debuggers
- Knowledge of low noise and high stable clock generators and clock distribution (eg Stratum 3E)
- Practical experience with the use of sensible electronic equipment and possible modifications at the boards in the laboratory
