My outstanding Cloud Services client in Dresden, Germany are currently using a revolutionary product which is soon to be huge around the world. They're looking for two System Administrators/DevOps Consultants to come on board for an initial 6 month duration but is highly likely to extend for years to come. This really is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most exciting companies in Europe.
Essential skills and experience are as follows:
- Intensive knowledge/development experience in OpenStack
- Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of networking technologies and protocols
- Good understanding of Linux networking stack and tools
- Scripting experience: Shell, Python and/or Perl
- Working experience with OpenStack, VMWare and/or other cloud management frameworks: deployment, configuration, operations
- Knowledge of open-source storage solutions and distributed file systems
- Ideally: Working experience with configuration management framework: Chef
- Ideally: Knowledge of virtualization platforms (KVM/XEN/LXC)
