For one of our clients we are looking for a SoD Expert (m/f) in Berlin:
Job description:
Internal audits have identified segregation of duties (SoD) conflicts in the SAP systems. These conflicts have to be identified and subsequently cleaned up. For this the client has implemented the tool "Approva" which allows to identify such conflicts.
We searche for a Governance Expert "Segregation of Duties" (SoD expert) who's task it is to plan, organize and manage the SoD conflict resolution activities.
The SoD expert will work together with different teams from the IS and business departments (e.g. the SAP authorizations team and business process owners, internal controls)
Specific tasks:
Create an approach on how to clean up SoD conflicts
Align approach with stakeholders from the business community
Instruct authorizations team on how to clean up role and authorizations conflicts
Plan, organize, and track work of different stakeholders (e.g. authorizations team, SAP specialists, business process owners)
Analyze current SoD conflicts using the tool "Approva" and report on current status and progress of cleaning activities
Identify most critical SoD conflicts
Create a prioritized list of SoD conflicts to work on
Skill requirements:
Knowledge in SAP Authorizations
Understanding of SAP Finance, Procurement, and Logistics
Experience in segregation of duties
English (fluent)
Optional Skills:

Project management, e.g. estimation, reporting, progress tracking

Organizational skills
Strong communication skills (role requires to communicate on different levels to technical and business personnel)

Organizational information:
Duration: September 2013 onwards; minimum until Jan 2014, longer engagement is possible
Time required onsite: 3-5 days per week
