For our client in telecommunication we are currently looking for an Integration Designer with strong infrastructure knowledge.

Start: 4th quarter (to be announced)
Duration: 6 months (+ extension)
Location: Duesseldorf, Germany (1 day home office is possible)
Language: English
Volume: 100%

Description:
Our client is running various global projects that are used by enterprise customers or many local markets (in-country companies).

The aim of the role is to support in the required projects the requirement analysis, the design review from the System Integrator but also and especially the creation of low-level technical integration design documents to describe how to integrate the service into the existing data centre landscape, following infrastructure, application and security standards.
For the best fit an evaluation of the most efficient use of the existing environments in terms of HW, SW, networks, existing services and operational resources has to be performed. This involves the usage of virtualization techniques as Solaris Zones or VMware, the choice of operating systems as Red Hat Linux or Microsoft and data bases as Oracle, MSSQL or others. To optimize the usage of operating know how solutions will be redesigned to use our standards which includes several Microsoft and Oracle products, as well as Apache and Jboss. The SLA level for the service is the basis for the redundancy concepts, which encompass load balanced Servers, Oracle, Veritas or Microsoft clusters and on the storage side features as SRDF.
The Designer has a good understanding of the client´s data centre, its security zones and the wide area network and defines the communications flows and load balancer rules is one part of the Integration design document.

Tasks/Accountabilities:
- Analyzing business, functional and technical requirements and translate them into low level integration design documents
- Develop infrastructure and application architecture solutions based on the requirement analysis
- support the responsible project manager, deployment and operation teams
- Responsible to define the end-to-end strategy and design for the integration and operation of all Global Applications
- Support projects and service provision activities working closely with design, delivery and operation entities (ensure optimum service quality and minimal costs)
- Accountable for end to end technical demand and requirement management (alignment, base lining, versioning, tracking)
- Responsible for providing technical consultancy to the Domains during the Demand phase
- Manage that all Integration and solution design activities follow agreed standards
- Propose technical strategies and concepts to arrive at an aligned high level technical assessment as part of base lining the technical demand (during Demand phase).
- Responsible for managing feasibility analyses/technology assessments/commercial and technical impact analysis

Required Skills:
- Technical experience with high availability infrastructure and application configurations (eg Oracle WebLogic Clustering)
- Technical experience with Middleware like Weblogic or Jboss
- Technical experience with Oracle Database
- Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Applications like Web Centre Suite/CRM/Billing/Order manager/Inventory etc.or similar products from other vendors
- Quick self-development in new technologies (Internet, colleagues, literature, etc)
- N2H: Experience with Microsoft SQL DB
- N2H: Experience in PreSales environment
