NAC Enhancement is an engineering project which establishes the standard set-up for 802.1x based authentication for Windows 7 devices using certificates. The project will establish standard configurations for network components, for Windows 7 devices (desktop, laptop) and the PKI infrastructure, as well as define the process for device certificates management.Task:
- To work together with our Client’s networks department by analyzing possibilities to support a Full certificate lifecycle management on Windows7 machines
- To support a Proof of Concept implementation
Experience:
- Experience within a large Network Access Control project utilizing X.509 certificates for machine authentication, preferably with a larger scope, e.g. IP phones, routers, CCTV etc.
Skills:
- Windows 7
- Microsoft Cryptography API (MS CAPI)
- 802.1x (using EAP-TLS)
- Pre-boot authentication
- Sound knowledge regarding Windows services and Windows registry
- Very good command of English language (oral and written)
