Project description:
This project/feasibility study shall decide on the implementation solution of a trade life cycle system for the weather business, replacing the current tactical solution, including a consolidated view on weather derivatives and gas physical & financial positions in Open Link's Endur and linking the current weather decision support tool (Speedwell). For explanation: both applications (Speedwell and Endur) are already used, but not linked.
Project target/tasks
- (updated) business requirements
- potential system solution options with respect to functional segmentation between Speedwell and Endur and related interface options
- coordination with traders and IT
- high-level cost/benefits analysis per solution option
- recommendation of one solution option (technical solution)
- preparation of implementation decision
- implementation plan (high-level project timeline, resource requirements)
Required skills:
- Expert knowledge with Speedwell (what are the functions? How can the application be connected to other Energy Trading and Risk Management tools?)
- understanding of the weather derivatives business
- Endur knowledge
- N2H: Knowledge with weather derivatives in Endur
- Language: English (fluent)
