BI Developer is needed for one of our key clients. As the BI Developer, you will have strong expertise in working with this global brand and have experience working with Pentaho Kettle. As the BI Developer, you will have strong knowledge of working with specifically working with Data Warehouse platforms. As the BI Developer, you will have solid technical abilities to deliver across a number of business units.As the BI Developer, you will needs handle the operational parts of the delivery and execute the Data warehouse which is complex with a mix of different operating systems, applications/systems and hardware.
As the BI Developer, you will have the following skills:
*Strong BI Development skills - specifically working with Pentaho Kettle
*Knowledge of Application operation of DW
*Monitoring of HW, SW and file flows
*Error handling
*Installation/Maintenance/Upgrades/ Patching/ Deployment
*Maintenance of system documentation
*Ability to continuously improve the application operation tasks
*Experience in application operation of business critical systems in an enterprise (complex and distributed) environment with high availability requirements.
*Linux knowledge
