Task:As a Lead Developer / IT Architect (f/m) you will be joining a team of highly motivated and skilled IT specialists, architects, project manager, and team leads. You will be using state of the art methods, tools and products to design, implement, deploy, and maintain IT services. The main task will be to lead development activities for Portal projects and to extend our general Portal Platform. The Portal Platform is a central shared asset in our corporate IT landscape that already hosts various global critical solutions.

Requirements (Must have):
You are a qualified architect and developer with several years of international experience and a strong background in software development, software architecture and system architecture & design. You display the following strengths:
- Practical experience of planning, designing, implementing, and deploying applications and data architectures in complex distributed n-tier environments
- Knowledge and practical experience in the following areas is required: Java EE, ESB, message oriented middleware, web services, database design and unit testing
- Knowledge of the following technologies would be beneficial: UML, principles of service orientation
- Basic TOGAF / PMI / ITIL knowledge would be beneficial
- Very strong team working skills
- Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering quality results to tight deadlines
- Self-motivation, quick learning, and creative thinking
- Enthusiasm and high passion for your work
- Good self-organization and time management
- English business fluent
The key aspects of your role are in particular:
- Responsibility of the technical conception of the Portal Platform
- Responsibility for definition of architecture, development rules and standards
- Design and implementation of Java-based solutions
- Coordination of internal and external developers
- Translation between requirements, project / service management and development team
- Working in international teams with internal and external members
The department Solution Design & Development runs IT projects and develops IT solutions for both internal and external clients. The team Business Solutions is responsible for architecture and implementation of IT services that are used worldwide. We support requirements management and operational processes for our solutions.
