For one of our clients we are currently looking for an IT Security Process Specialist (m/f) based in Berlin.
Description:
The IT Security Process Specialist assists in the design, development, implementation and documentation of essential security processes to make efficient use of data centre security controls created within the Focus IS program. He/She also serves as a security process expert in various technologies and platforms that support these processes and affect infrastructure (such as patch management, incident and event monitoring systems, vulnerability and technical compliance assessment tools, etc.) under the guidance of the IS Security Office. The IT Security Process Specialist contributes to the development and maintenance of DC security strategy, ensuring the implementation and operation of the appropriate security controls are aligned with IT security policies and standards and regulatory or contractual requirements (e.g. OSC).
Tasks:
60% Security Services: Designs, development, Implementation and documentation of core security processes (malware protection, incident and event monitoring, technical compliance, vulnerability testing) so that information on IT systems is appropriately protected from a wide variety of problems including unauthorized disclosure, unauthorized use, inappropriate modification, premature deletion, and unavailability
30% DC Security: Supports security requirements and best practices for both Core IT Security processes (in Data Centre, Network) as well as specific technologies, especially firewall, IDS and privileged access management.
10% System Security: Interprets information security policies, standards, and other requirements as they relate to specific security processes.
