Mandatory experience and qualifications are:
- Proven proficiency in C++ and OO design in C++
- Familiar with different language-independent data serialization formats ie Protocol Buffers, Apache Avro, Message Pack, etc.
- Familiar with XML & related technologies ie DOM etc
- Experienced working with CI tools and TDD ie Jenkins, Continuum, Bamboo, etc.
- Experience with working on Linux environments
- Experienced in overall software engineering process, ie design, develop and documentation
- Knowledge about algorithms, data structures & API design experience
- Experience with working in Agile/Scrum environments
Following skills will be considered as a plus
- Familiarity with location based applications and paradigms
- Programming in Java
- Know how concerning RESTFul services & APIs using spring framework is a major plus
- Backend development experience (web services)
- Know how concerning AMQP or ActiveMQ (or other message queuing technologies) is a plus
- Experience with traffic content data and associated location referencing and traffic event coding systems such as TMC or Alert-C
- Experience in participation in standardization processes is a plus
- Experience with IOS or Android is a plus
