Project Manager – Travel System Implementation – Germany

A Project Manager with experience in Implementing Travel Booking Applications is needed for one of our international clients in the Telecommunications arena, on contract basis (initially 6 moths) in Germany, start date is asap.
Responsibilities:
• To manage the implementation of the on-line travel booking solution across the following countries: Germany, Benelux, Hungary, Poland and Ireland
• Project planning of the implementation in each country (to include testing/ configuration of tools, training of end users, amendments to internal procedures/ directives and confirmation of support arrangements)
• Change management surrounding the change (to include preparation of comms plan and production/ issuing of web articles and other comms items, plus technical liaison with the project manager)
• Regular reporting to steering group and sponsor on project progress and risks/issues
• Identify and manage key stakeholders
• Manage project tracking and progress
• Manage dependencies and cross functional activities between the involved departments
Requirements:
• Experience of travel booking applications is essential, specifically an application called Carlsson Wagonlit (CWT)
• Project & Change Management experienced
• Experience in IT System Implementation
• Willingness to travel within in Europe
• Essential language is English but extra skills in German/ French would be beneficial
