SW-Test Designer
Design and implementation of software for automated tests of Embedded-Real Time-software. The software system which has to be tested is running on a Power PC440 as well as on DSPs and FPGAs. It is equipped with standardized and proprietary interfaces in order to operate a medical x-ray generator. The software development has to be carried out mainly with an UML-model based development method within windows platforms, supported by a complete tool-chain. The tasks include conception design, detail design, programming, accomplishment of tests and documentation within a development and project team in Hamburg and close together with a software test team in China (expected travelling time: 20 %).
Main Tasks
Design of software for steering test procedures, communication interfaces, hardware interfaces and calculation within the given testing architecture
Test case analysis based on requirements and design specifications
Accomplishment of automated and manual tests according to the regulatory requirements
Creation of documents for each development phase, eg specification of verification, reports for testing, validation of tools
Provision of fault finding support for application software developer
Integration of Software under tests with other components of system
working within a dynamic and a comprehensive development and project team
Qualifications
Diploma/Master/Bachelor of Computer studies/informatics/information technology or similar
Mandatory Requirements
Profound knowledge of test systems engineering and processes
Profound knowledge in Object Oriented programming and design - and preferable in UML
Analytical skills and a pragmatic approach
Team-minded with a high motivation
Fluent English language skills (spoken and written)
Fluent German language skills (spoken and written)
Preferabel Requirements
ISTQB Certified Tester
Knowledge of development of Embedded Real Time Software
Knowledge of Software Test Tools, eg C++, Unit Test, Model Sim, TestRT
Familiar with hardware and software (eg Minor study in Electrical Engineering or similar)
Experiences with process oriented development of software (V-model, iterative development, change management, version management, configuration management, CMMI)
Experiences with model-based development (e. g. Rational Rose Real Time, IBM RSA RTE, IBM Telelogic Rhapsody)
