Beschreibung
In our client started a project to virtualize the infrastructure provisioning of their global GRID computing environment with currently 6000+ server blades. Core of the project is a virtualization and automation design, which allows fast and flexible (template based) creation of new instances, patching, etc. with minimal manual interaction. In this context our client offers the position of a VMware technical specialist with programming / scripting focus. The project team works in a global set up and the project language is English.
Anforderungen
Project Details:
- Configuration of the VMware based, virtual environment (vSphere 5.1)
- Development of and integration of scripts / automation in VMware vCO
- Roll-out planning
- Initial support of the project infrastructure
- Development and implementation of solutions for configuration management

Required skill set
- Expert knowledge in VMware vSphere API
- Expert knowledge in automating with VMware vCO
- Excellent knowledge in Oracle SQL
- Excellent JAVA and JavaScript development skills
- Excellent knowledge about automation in virtual infrastructures
- Relevant API knowledge (REST, SOAP, JDBC)
- Language skills : German/English native/advanced mandatory
