Our client, a IT consultancy based in the Stuttgard area in Germany is currently looking for an Geometry Software development Lead engineer to join their expanding team. This is a permanent role with an immediate start but the client are willing to hold out for the right candidate.For this role you will be required to:
Propose solutions/alternatives by understanding the customer expectations
understand machining domain requirements and convert them to specifications
software requirements/design/coding/testing/project review
customer communication
working with offshore teams to deliver tasks
The perfect candidate will have the following skills and experience
Hands on experience with any of the CAD Modelers like SpaceClaim, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, ProE, CATIA, UG (Unigraphics)
Software design: OO (Object Oriented), UML, Design Pattern, Desktop application
Preferred domain: Sheet Metal, Bend, Punch, Forming
An engineering degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Automobile
Have a programming background with C++ or C#, .NET, WPF, WCF
Fluency in German
The Successful candidate will have 7-10 years experience in the relevant field and have the ability to think laterally and statistically as well as being well versed in areas of Geometry, Algorithm, NURBS, Modeling, Algebra and Vector.
