Für einen unserer Kunden suchen wir aktuell Senior Desktop Support Analysten für London und Paris.About the Role
Provides day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware. Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, servers and network issues in a heterogeneous environment. Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment. Communicates highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Internal Customer service or relationship management. Domain expertise in IT, technical operations or security. Experience leading teams and organizing work for self and others. Formal, overall experience as an IT professional. Ability to multi-task on various technical tasks, and reprioritization. A+, MCP, or MCDST certificate or equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Experience:
The successful candidate will have wide-ranging experience, using professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex desktop issues in creative and effective ways. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Internal contacts often pertain to company plans and objectives.

Excels under high pressure and quick resolution. Advanced Computer skills. Ability to manage multiple, complex technical projects. Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non technical audience.
Typically requires a minimum of 8-10 years of related experience.
Specific skill requirements in the following areas:
- Laptop (Dell & IBM preferred) hardware troubleshooting and management
- Office2007 Suite, Cisco VPN client, PGP (or other encryption application), and Symantec Ghost
- Ability to create documentation of processes and instructions for clients
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Users and Groups
- Blackberry handheld management experience or other mobile device skills
- Excellent understanding of desktop computer operating systems (WindowsXP and Windows7)
- Knowledge of wireless technologies and concepts
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor others
- Project leadership and delegation skills – ability to take ownership through task completion
- MAC computer and OS experience is desired
- Exchange administration experience
- Cisco networking experience troubleshooting network devices and software (VLANs, ports)
