JOB SPECIFICATION
Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Munich, Germany
Type: 6 months possible extension
Job Description:
Project CONCUR
- SaaS solution for Travel & Expenses, and also Procurement card (miscellaneous low value purchases)
- initial deployments are planned for Europe - UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland
- project is sponsored by Finance, FInance overall responsible for delivery & vendor management
- IS PM to provide overall structure, governance, planning, reporting and support business PM in delivering the project - both jointly report to steerco
- IS specific responsibilities - infrastructure connectivity, interfaces, data & data protection
- challenges: project is a pre-requisite for deployment of new SAP template in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Finance is accountable but IS need the project delivered successfully, FInance project management experience, buy-in and desire to change in countries
Crystal Phase 2
- additional functionality and additional geographic roll-out of TM1 software (from IBM) software to support financial planning
- application and vendor is managed by FInance, limited IS responsibilities (interfaces & infrastructure)
- Challenges: project sponsored by CFO, CAPEX budget in IS so any over-runs are IS budget over-run
General Project Management Responsibilities:
Project Management Responsibilities Define Phase:
- Create and maintain a project plan for the Define phase
- Ensure key Delta deliverables of Define Phase - Project Charter, Project Solution Brief, URS are in place
- Ensure IT architecture sign off in place on the proposed solution
- Prepare project plan for delivery phase with associated resource profile
- Provide input on business case and ensure that efforts, costs, timelines and key assumptions, and risks are reasonable and confirmed by the relevant delivery teams
- Ensure project organization, steering committee and governance are defined; initiate Steerco
- If relevant, participate in RFP process to ensure contractual set up supports or is reflected in the business case and project plan
- Handover (if relevant) to assigned delivery project manager
Project management responsibilities run phase:
- Reports into project Steerco
- Reviews and signs off on scope, timelines and budget as defined in project charter and business case
- Develop and track global build project plan
- Develop and align global deployment plan with Business Project Manager and Regional IS PM's
- Manage project interdependencies to ensure successful delivery
- Measure and monitor progress to ensure that the build and deploy projects meet performance targets
- Manage risks for all projects under the global program
- Act as liaison and point of escalation with Business Project Manager
- Ensure global resources are effectively allocated and used across releases
- Support change management and communication process
- Facilitate transfer of project deployment capability to enable region to own further deployments
- Participate in change control process and manages project scope
- Delivers project on time according to defined objectives and deliverables and to agreed budget
- Reports on status

- Strong stakeholder management skills needed, Have sufficient interpersonal skills and drive to be able to manage Linde stakeholders in their environment.
- Are able to co-ordinate projects across multiple Linde stakeholder groups with geographic spread
- Have the ability to assure the integration with Linde template and other systems
