Technical Project Manager

Mansion House Consulting are a highly successful and rapidly expanding Technology and Business Transformation Consultancy specialising in the Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Asset/Fund Management and Wealth Management sectors. We currently have offices in London, New York, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Singapore.
There is an immediate requirement for a Technical Project Manager to join an Operations Optimisation group responsible for the discovery, management and execution of projects within IT infrastructure. The successful consultant will have strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication skills and be expected to produce detailed analysis and investigation of required resources. Applicants will come from a technical project management background, ideally working on large scale IT infrastructure projects in financial services.
The Technical Project Manager will be tasked with bringing in in subject matter experts from all parts of the organisation to confirm and refine feasibility and detail out future designs including engineering, operations team (server, storage engineers), Product Managers of Shared Services.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in Financial Services - Investment Banking
- Knowledge of x86 platforms - operating systems Windows/Unix (Solaris/SLES/AIX) and DBMS system Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Excel/Access (data analysis, data manipulation), PowerPoint
- Project Management capabilities and related practical experience
- ITILv2/v3 Certified - Foundation level or higher
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
