Background
My client is a major bank involved in securities markets, data services and trading.
The Chief Information Officer's team at the bank is now looking for a QA Analyst to help them in the design and set-up of an IT Quality Assurance Framework.
Tasks:
- Support of activities in the design of an IT Quality Assurance Framework:
- Preparation of internal audits within the IT department;
- Review of modelling, use of a quality tools;
- Creating process workflows in the context of an existing process-oriented quality management system according to ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO/IEC certification for IT service management;
- Support for documentation and update already certified processes;
- Participation in preparation of the Service Improvement Plan and of the Quality Improvement Plan;
- Participation in an initiative to capture 'lessons learned' in the interaction of quality and knowledge management.Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Quality management ISO 9001/TickIT;
- Practical knowledge of the application of quality management within IT;
- ISO/IEC 20000 for service Management;
- Knowledge of IT process modelling and use of modelling tools;
- ITIL best practice v3;
- Some knowledge of management applications (including wikis and their templates and options).
- Experience in the securities/trading/clearing, investment banking or similar business will be a plus.
