Our Client a Leading Global Consultancy is currently seeking the services of Network Support Engineer to join there Operations team for a 12 month contract to be based in Frankfurt. (Candidates must be fluent in English and German).
This role would suit someone who has a couple of years experience working in a Network support capacity who has a good knowledge of Cisco products and an understanding of Network Security.
You will have an appreciation of both LAN and WAN and will be based in our Clients Frankfurt office and will also provide onsite support from the Frankfurt Data Centre. There will also be an opportunity to grow and get involved with the wider BAU Data Centre Operations.
Security:
Tools:
- Quality Scan
- Nessus
- Appdetective
- Firewall Changes
- IDP updates
- Remediation from Security findings
- Support of Qualis scans
- Run Scans Review scans
- Determine what is a real' alert and action accordingly
- Monitoring/BAU
Network:
- Changes & Support
- Provide onsite support at the DC when necessary
- Level of knowledge of Cisco & Juniper:
- Maintaining Documentation
- Cisco Nexus
- Cisco Routers
- Cisco Switches
- Cisco Load balances
- Juniper STRM tool (Knowledge of would be advantageous)
- Networking Protocols - BGP, OSPF
- Any exposure or knowledge of Riverbed would be useful.
