LSPO services are provided on demand of the markets. The scope of individual projects are tailored to match the priorities and goals of the stakeholders in the markets. The analysis of the priorities within the market and the drivers for those priorities, regarding the services to be optimized, the trade offs to be accepted and the best approach to conduct the project, is an essential task in each LSPO project.• We measure the performance of services with a strong focus on real life use cases, devices and applications
• While we measure from high level customer point of view we dig into the very details of protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, service specific usage of protocols (e.g. Youtube), RN protocols etc. to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• The analysis of technologies does not stop at the classic reference points on the edge of a network but extends to the browsers applications on one side and ends at the web servers in the internet on the other side.
Tasks:
• Performanceanalyse zur Identifizierung von Perfomance-Engpässen ausgewählter Festnetz- und Mobilfunkprodukte unseres Kunden
• Analyse der Zusammenhänge zwischen den zur Diensterbringung eingesetzten Systemen und Technologien
• Erarbeitung von konkreten Lösungen zur Verbesserung der Performance unter Berücksichtigung der technischen und ökonomischen Randbedingungen
• Initiierung und Monitoring von Verbesserungsmaßnahmen und Unterstützung der jeweiligen Experten Teams
• Beratung bei der Planung und Entwicklung von Prozessen und Konzepten zur frühzeitigen Erkennung von Performanceproblemen heutiger und zukünftiger Produkte und Lösungen
• Fristgerechte, effiziente und vollständige Lösung von Problemen, die während des Testens zusammen mit anderen Abteilungen und externen Firmen aufgedeckt wurden
• Bereitstellung von professionellen Statusinformationen zu Problemstellungen
• Regelmäßige Kommunikation und Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Fachbereichen wie Design/ Development, Planning, System Engineering Teams und externen Anbietern
Looking for a TCP/IP expert with in-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol family and major application protocols.
Should be able to tweak the performance of TCP/IP data services on operation system level for desktop operating systems Windows XP/7/8, Linux, MacOS and mobile opterating systems (iOS, Android).
Should know what a bandwidth delay product is and what it is needed for.
Knowledge in mobile network architecture.
Knowledge in 3G/4G mobile radio network technologies.
Operationg systems MS Windows, OSX,iOS, Linux, AndroidShould know the traffic characteristics of major TCP/IP based customer relevant data services (web browsing, YouTube, VoIP) and be able to tweak popular web browsers for maximum performance.
