We are looking for a database administrator on IBM's Mid Range DB2 UDB, running on an AIX platform, someone with experience of DB2 on Client Server platforms (DB2 LUW)
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 months with option to extend
Location: Munich
Hourly rate: €52
The normal workload comprises: problem solving, reporting, backup and recovery, monitoring and tuning, software upgrades, archiving, replication amendments and enhancements, and any further business requirements.
This is across all production, user acceptance, operational support, stress testing, integration, development and maintenance environments.
Keeping the office's live applications active and running efficiently is of paramount importance, therefore the first and most important task of this role is Production Support.
