Pharmacovigilance Project Manager is currently required by a leading Pharmaceutical Company to work on the implementation of a new Safety Database within their Clinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance group.The client current database is the Oracle Emprica Trace v.4.2. This system is no longer meeting their requirements so a new system is required.
The Project Manager will be working on the initiation phase of the project and will be responsible for coordination of vendor selection, definition of user requirements, liaison between the various departments involved and preparation of a detailed implementation plan.
The Project Manager will be working on the business side of the project and providing expertise on the definition and implementation of safety protocols within PVG, regulations and stakeholder management.
The ideal candidate will have an extensive Project Management background specifically with a deep understanding of Pharmacovigilance regulations, safety protocols and how the group operates. Experience of implementing large scale clinical system changes is ideal, but not essential. Any experience with safety database systems, including Emprica Trace, Argus and ARISg is also desirable.
Location - Based on site in Hessen
Duration - 9 months with potential extensions
Rate - Negotiable depending on experience
Start - mid/late July.
