excellent programming know how in SAP ABAP/4 and SAP ABAP-OO
experienced in BW (APD, data mining or IP)
implementation experience in Rel. 7.3
know how in authorizations, open hub and info spokes
familiar with modelling, aggregates, data sources business content, flat files, hierarchies
able to handle some older developments in BW 3.5
know how in reporting: query designer, BEx analyzer, work books, web templates, information broadcasting
portal know how: would be advantageous, as some client web templates are included in portal
SAP module know how in BW environment:
FI, CO, MM (current implementation), purchasing and data sources in logistic cockpit, group template ? roll-up and reporting to the group but also local reporting
ABAP know how:
several ABAP exits in BW, extraction, loading, BEx variable exits, virtual key figures
focus on performance
programming of general, not BW-specific ABAP programs
existing programs realized with ABAP-Objects, dynamic (e.g. ASSIGN COMPONENT)
debugging of programs, checking entries in customizing tables (ABAP-OO know how important!)
Special issues:
BW Task Manager (customer-own development for a BW cockpit for all entities within the group
Language skill: German, English, both fluent
