For one of our clients we are looking for a Transition Delivery Manager (m/f) in Berlin: Job description: Transition Delivery Manager (Project Manager) required to partake in the coordination of Operational Transition from a full outsource environment to a multisource environment using an off shore remote infrastructure management service. The project will require the coordination and successful delivery of ITIL based processes, Procedures and technologies into the off shore provider using a Prince II framework. The project will require the coordination and successful delivery of ITIL based processes, Procedures and technologies into the off shore provider using a Prince II framework. Essential Experience: Successful candidates will have a track record of managing business stakeholders across multiple sites and have run previous projects in a Data Centre or Operations environment. The candidate will have managed both operational and technical teams through change as well as run multiple Projects in an ITIL environment. A proven track record of project delivery in truly global organisations using a Risk management approach to project delivery The individual must have a demonstrable record of IS Operations transition experience including: ITIL Processes Event, Change and Incident management Service validation and Acceptance testing Data Centre Infrastructure delivery experience. Knowledge and experience of key Data Centre technologies such as: Physical and Virtual Server environments High Availability SAN and NAS storage Backup technology Windows and Linux Software deployment and patch management MS Project experience
Key responsibilities and challenges : Assist the Remote Infrastructure Management Transition Project Manager to structure and maintain the transition plan Manage schedules and trackers with off shore delivery provider Provide content knowledge on best practice procedures Assist in the management of the Risks and Issues keeping these updated Report on progress to the Project Manager
