Anforderung
- Degree in an engineering discipline, preferable in Telecommunications or Information Technologies usually required and work experience of more than 3 years.
- Profound networking skills; i.e. CCNA (at least), CCNP (preferred).
- Profound understanding of Telecommunications Technologies, in particular TCP/IP
networks including Unified Communication technology.
- Understanding and experience in firewall technologies, IPsec, LDAP, SMTP, POP,
Proxy Servers and of the IP infrastructure applications DNS, RADIUS, TACACS.
- Experience and problem resolution capabilities in VLAN, Spanning Tree, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, ATM, MPLS, Frame Relay, WAAS, CSM, Wireless, and VoIP technologies.
- Should have worked serving a large global network as a network planner,
implementation engineer or within an operational centre including third level
faultfinding and troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to work under stress situation and logical thinking through the process of
analyzing and fixing of infrastructure issues.
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions and find innovative solutions to complex
network problems with minimal supervision.
- Good Communication and English language skills, written and spoken, are essential
to be able to communicate with customers, international colleagues, groups and
vendors.
- Willingness to learn and to adapt to new technologies, processes and methods.
- Customer focused attitude is essential.

Beschreibung
- Network Engineer / Network Analyst CNA.
- The Network Analyst CNA is a highly qualified expert and is responsible for the
proactive and smooth operation of global data and voice networks from Europe
during the European daytime hours, regular weekends, and on- call duty.
- He/she needs to ensure highest availability of the overall network.
- He/she identifies and analyses customer issues in a pro-active manner and if
necessary enforces solutions through the appropriate Ford departments.
- He/she manages the operations and drives the resolution process from the occurring
of a problem through the resolution.
- The Network Analyst has major responsibilities like:
- Ensuring of highest infrastructure availability through proactive management and administration
- Performing of proactive measures and tests to optimize overall network resilience
o Act as a member of the Network Operationsteam responsible for Day-to-Day Operations of the Telecommunications infrastructure
- Coordination and resolving of emergency infrastructure issues
- Escalation of outages to service providers and third party support teams
- Coordinationofinstallationandconfigurationofnetworkinfrastructureand
systems
- Provisioning of support to Implementation teams regarding network design,
design and testing
- Participation in operational reviews with support partners and customer
areas
