Our client is currently looking for either 1 or 2 German and English speaking Consultants to assist them on their new project in West Germany.In the first phase an Interface between the clients system and an external WM system has to be established.
This connection has to be created via IDOC and EDI. The consultant should come from an EDI IDOC background with good knowledge around logistic set ups.
Once the technical precondition has been set up which should take between 2-4 weeks we can move on to the 2nd phase.
In the 2nd phase which is to start mid July, we will be assisting a permanent employee with high workload. The consultant will be working onsite in West Germany near the Ruhr Valley for approx. 3-4 days, full time 5 days may occur but probably not throughout the whole contract. The duration will be until end of the year.
We will require a Consultant with strong SD MM functional know how. The ideal split in SD/MM is between 60/40 and 70/30.
The main tasks in order of priority will be
1. Define SD MM LE processes
a. SD: the entire cycle from sales via invoicing availability verification to sending goods
b. MM: Goods moving in, Goods moving out, inventory management
c. LE: Transportation and delivery
2. Customizing, configuration, design
3. Hands on implementation assistance
4. Test support
5. Potentially master data transfer
6. User training
