We are looking to get much better at documentation and want to develop stunning presentations to explain our service offerings to outsiders. We are very good at drawing pictures of our environment with a pen, but have no interest or ability in digitizing these. We are also very good at explaining how things work, but not so good at baking that person to person understanding into presentations or documents that can be stored and shared to a wider audience. We want to explain stuff with our voices and a pen and paper, and end up with well-written documents and professional slide decks.

You:
You have a strong understanding of UNIX and can understand tech-speak from UNIX Systems Engineers. You have experience documenting and/or working in a multi-tiered web environment. You know can take pictures that involve lots of lines and boxes and turn them into digital documents that can be easily adapted and maintained. You know how to develop good presentation decks, and perhaps can even coach our engineers on delivering great presentation using these decks.
You possess the following experience that you can bring to our team:
- 3 years of UNIX Systems Administration experience or >5 years of experience writing technical documents in UNIX based environments.
- 3 years of experience developing Powerpoint presentation
- Advanced proficiency in some sort of charting tool such as OmniGraffle, Visio or GraphViz.
