Title: Tier 2 Desktop Support
Location: Hamburg
Duration: One Month

My client is responsible and maintaining their customers IT systems and provide efficient desktop support to all business users. The service desk is responsible for resolving any IT-related faults quickly and efficiently.

As the Tier 2 Desktop Support Engineer you will be expected to provide effective IT assistance across all aspects of all the customers business and will provide back up and support to the service desk team. You must support and maintain the desktop environment including all general maintenance.

Your responsibilities will be to:
*Provide tier 2 desktop support to customers via telephone, email and in person.
*Answer custom questions.
*Escalating IT issues to the IT team.
*Diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
*Supporting and maintaining MS Server/Desktops and MS Exchange.
*Antivirus installation to all desktop and laptops.
*Setting up and configuring new laps and desktops.

Essential skills you will need:
*Strong IT skills.
*Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
*Experience with Windows XP, 200, 2003 and Vista desktop support.
*Experience with Windows Server .
*Experience working with Active Directory and MS Exchange.
*MUST be able to speak English and German
