Software Architect or senior software developer with at least five to ten years of experience is needed for a long term contract role in Hamburg, Germany. Ideally you will have experience in the Aerospace sector or specifically with Airbus methods and procedures and this opportunity is with a leading international engineering firm that provides expertise in electrical systems, aerostructure, mechanical systems, software and electronic Embedded systems within the aerospace domain. Your main skills should include C++, Matlab, Python and Fortran. This is an English speaking role.Software Developer duties:
* Advanced development of software architectures and software (code included)
* Leading the software development team
* Following all software development processes
* Testing and validation of software
* Performing non-regression tests
Skills needed:
* Availability for August 2013
* 5 to 10 years of experience in software development or software architecture
* Development expertise in C++, Fortran and Python
* High level of Matlab knowledge and experience
* Software testing including non-regression testing experience
* Experience within the aerospace sector and especially Airbus project, methods and procedures for software development
* Airbus GPP (General Process Plan) knowledge and understanding
* Fluent English language skills both written and verbal
