Background
My client is a major bank involved in securities settlement, clearing & custody.
A connectivity layer called LIMA/SPOC (Link Manager/Single Point of Communication) exists to allow the bank to provides customers, (I)CSD (International Centralised Securities Depositary) and other financial institutions Real Time and batch interfaces to the various Back End applications in the clearing, settlement and custody areas.
The communication via SWIFT, File-Transfer and IBM WebSphere MQ Series is based on ISO15022 and ISO20022 standards.
They are now looking for an experienced Design/Test Analyst: the main focus lies is on analysis, design and testing more than coding. ie. programming skills are not essential.
You should be bi-lingual: English and German language are essential.
Tasks: Analysis, Design and Testing of the connectivity layer and interfaces:
1. Product design/functional system delivery specifications (SDS) for LIMA/SPOC connectivity layer and support of technical system design (TSD):
1a) Analysis, design, testing and documentation of interfaces to customers and (I)CSD's via SWIFT, File Transfer and MQ Series in the context of the planned migration to Target2 Securities (T2S);
1b) Analysis and documentation of ISO 15022 and ISO20022 related requirements, changes and enhancements. Mapping of message types, fields and functions to CBF Back End applications;
2. Setup and perform integration tests and technical acceptance tests for LIMA and SPOC applications and support business acceptance tests. Creation of use cases, test approaches, test data, test entry and exit criteria.
3. 2nd Level Support for Customer Service Connectivity and product development regarding interfaces to customers and (I)CSD's.
Essential Skills:
- Functional design, analysis and documentation
of Mainframe based applications (IBM OS390, z/OS);
- Test methods, test preparation, execution and
quality management of Mainframe based applications;
- Some knowledge in the clearing & settlement business, CSD services, stock exchange business and underlying communication standards in ISO15022 and ISO20022;
- Good functional experience in connectivity channels such as SWIFT, file transfer and MQ Series;
- JCL, TSO, ISPF, 3270
- Data-Modelling
Nice to have skills:
- DB2 Tools (eg. TabSys, SPUFI, QMF);
- MQ Series: handling with channels and queues;
- SWIFT FIN, Interact and Fileact;
- Test Tools (eg. SQS);
- Experience in EAI based architectures.
Ideally some understanding of the financial market; Experience in the clearing business, preferably with other clearing organisations (eg. Clearstream, Euroclear, LCH, clearing operations of investment banks etc) will be a plus.
Language: English and German language are essential.
