For one of our clients we are looking for an oracle DBA (m/f)Context:
Beside project-driven activities there also will be an administrative part and requests for support on client-demands.
Tasks:
- Upgrade & Migration of ORACLE-Databases to Version 11g
- System implementation of ORACLE infrastrutures and features
- System Configuration & Tuning of high sophisticated ORACLE infrastrucures
- Diagnostics and Tuning for Performance of Oracle-Databases
- Creation of procedures and documentation
- Level 2 support for ORACLE Databases
- Consultancy & Feedback towards Operation Support
- Working closely with other Departments, Project Manager and Clients
Skills:
Mandatory knowledge and experience in following areas:
- ORACLE Version 10g & 11g
- ORACLE Utilities & Packs
- ORACLE Grid-Infrastructure (ASM, RAC, Failover-Cluster)
- ORACLE RMAN
- Grid Control
- OS: Linux, Unix, Windows
- Mature in Virtualized Infrastructure
- Shell scripting
- Optional: ORACLE for SAP
- Excellent knowledge of English (incl. writing)
