IT Technology Consultant for the implementation of new Dataservices systems.
Driving and coordination of System Migrations. Setup of HANA Operations.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
As IT Technology Consultant and Technical Landscape Owner you will be responsible for the:
- Delivery of complex DB and ETL Landscapes by providing technical expertise and support.
- Creation of Delivery/Operation Concepts
- Planning, setup and Migration-Support of Datamanegement Technologies (DB2 on Linux)
- Proper documentation of the implemented landscapes and roll out of this information to the rest of the team
- Coordination of activities with the customer and other delivery teams
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Strong working knowledge in UNIX (preferably Linux) and? Windows operating system platforms
- Strong working knowledge in at least one database platform (preferably DB2 LUW)
- Preferable some experience with SAP BusinessObjects DS/XI
- Knowledge of Virtualization and Storage Technology SAN/NAS
- customer focused communication and coordination skills
- At least 2-3 years experience as Technical SAP NetWeaver Consultant (ABAP and Java basis administration)
- willingness to support and operate emgerging technology trends like SAP HANA
- Work in a dynamic environment
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Master 19s degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics
- Solid know-how on SAP Technologies (SAP NetWeaver certification beneficial)
- Strong knowledge in at least one database platform (ideally DB2) on Linux
- Ability to work effectively in international and virtual teams
- Capacity to continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent, proactive way
- Good analytical and solution oriented thinking
- Good communication skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Very good English language skills
SAP-Kenntnisse: SAP Netweaver Basis (Java/ABAP) gut
Datenbankkenntnisse: IBM DB2 LUW 9.x gut
Hardwarekenntnisse: Linux OS / SLES 10 / 11 professionell
1.Fremdsprache: English verhandlungssicher
