Powertrain Software Engineer (RTOS/Embedded)
Powertrain software engineer with Real Time operating systems (RTOS) and Embedded software experience sought by a global automotive engineering firm based in Regensburg.
This is an initial 6 month contract based in Regensburg with a very attractive hourly rate of up to euro 65 per hour on offer.
Skills & Experience:
- Real Time operating systems
- Embedded software programming
- Powertrain or relevant automotive experience (development and quality assurance concepts)
- Customer facing experience highly desirable
- AUTOSAR standards highly advantageous
- Software design methods (eg UML)
- Automatic code generation
- English essential, German highly desirable
Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of automotive powertrain software based on functional specifications (application software)
- Implementation and testing of software for drive systems using modern simulation and programming tools
- Working with modern auto code tools
- Tuning of the software design and software architecture with OEMs
