SMC Engineers - GermanyA number of SMC (Surveillance & Maintenance) Engineers is needed in Northern Germany on contract basis for 6 months for one of our clients, an international Telecommunications company. Start date is asap.
Responsibilities:
• SMC Acceptance handover
• SMC Acceptance reporting
• Post Swap SMC support
• Post Swap KPI support
• Integration support of BTS
• BSC and BTS status handling
• Alarm handling of BSC and BTS
• Reporting to RIC Team Leader
• Use of customer databases and daily operational tools
Qualifications:
• Completed vocational education as Technician in Electronics, Telecommunications or ICT.
• Experience in 2G and Transmission networks
• Experience in operation and functional understanding of network equipment.
• Experience with Network Management Systems and Applications
• Preferable Working knowledge in a Network Operations Centre
• Working knowledge with service management processes
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and high pressure situations.
• A precise and problem-solving attitude.
• Good German and English
