A Site Product Assurance Engineer is required to work for one of the world leaders in the design and manufacture of satellite systems, based in Oberpfaffenhfen, near Munich. The role will be to manage and oversee the following activities:
Review of AIV test procedures and reports for on-site activities
Conducting site TRR/TRBs for elements and segment
Inspection/audit of installed equipment (including upgrades)
Witness testing of elements and segment
Conduct facility audits, report and resolve issues with host entity;
Interface with Customer PA representatives
Lead site NCR/AR process management (NCTS), including NRB/ARB activity
Complete Final inspection and close out reports
Provide support for the creation of the final GCS EIDP
Support the Configuration Manager for the production and maintenance of ABCL (as built records)
Represent the GCS PA Manager on site
provide management regular status reports.
PA presence on site (Oberpfaffenhofen) required to manage site activities, interface with the customer and meet PA requirements. Assistance to configuration management process also to be provided.
Candidate must be supplied in a manner compliant with an 18 month placement in Germany. We cannot engage with UK limited companies for this engagement.
Qualifications and/or Skills
Essential:
Experience of software development
Product assurance
Inter-personal skills suitable for a client facing role on an extremely high profile and complex contract.
Desirable: Degree in appropriate subject, auditing
Previous Experience
Essential: Product Assurance experience, software life cycle
Desirable: Galileo standards, large computer systems similar in size and scale to GCS
