For one of our direct clients in North Rhine Westphalia, I´m looking for a Project Manager m/f in the field of medical devices.tasks
- Evaluate the excising processes across different locations and determine if process gaps exist.
- Plan and manage new process implementation and rollout
- Train employees on the process and raise the quality awareness of the development teams
- Act as the resident expert on FDA and international medical device regulations
Supports the execution of our client by:
- Providing training on PLC, and related topics as needed
- Day to day coaching of Engineering, QE, and administrative staff
- Providing guidance for definition of project plans and strategies
- Reviewing documents as needed
- Active participation in the project work by acting as independent reviewer
- Supporting the execution of Management Reviews
- Defines, collects, and tracks quality metrics for the Engineering organization
- Acts as a liaison and arbitrator with various other departments: QA, RA, etc and other sites
- Supports audits of the design controls area and manages process non-conformances as needed
- Act as coach to other Process and Tools staff
Job Requirements
- Managing all changes and issues with the stakeholders
- Undertake creating strategies for contingency planning and risk mitigation
- Planning and scheduling project goals, milestones and deliverables
- Defining requirements and planning the project lifecycle deployment
- Defining resources and schedule for project and program implementation
- Identifying and solving project issues effectively
- Overseeing and directing the project engineering team and managing conflicts within the different groups
- Exhibiting effective leadership qualities by motivating the team toward achieving the program goals, setting priorities and removing obstacles
- Striving for process improvements in several aspects of engineering and operations execution
Qualifications
- University degree in Physics, Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent
- A certification in project management is required like Project Management Professional (PMP®)
- At least 7 years of experience in Medical Devices industry, experience in Proton or other Radiation Therapy is a plus
- At least 5 years of experience as Program or Project Manager in a High Tech industry with demonstrated success managing multi-million dollar budgets and aggressive delivery timelines with strict regulatory and quality requirements
