Beschreibung
A Network Integration and Test Engineer is required to work for one of the world leaders in the design and manufacture of satellite systems, based in Oberpfaffenhofen in Germany. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network engineering with a strong background in network communications. They will need to demonstrate an excellent technical ability coupled with a strong background in formal networks integration and verification. This will be a customer facing role so strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Qualifications and/or Skills
Essential: Network integration and verification, detailed knowledge of networking protocols (eg TCP/IP etc) Knowledge of IT security devices & concepts (VPNs, Firewalls etc). Ability to be security cleared. Knowledge of switching, routing and VLANs.
Desirable: CCNA, CCNP, high grade security endpoints, understanding of virtualisation technologies including VMWare
Previous Experience
Essential: Significant network design and hands-on experience. Experience of working on customer sites for the delivery of products or systems in support of integration and test activities. Experience of formal testing environments in a mission critical context.
Desirable: Experience in similar satellite communications programmes involving site or multi-site integration
Candidates must be engaged through internationally compliant solution and UK limited companies cannot be used.
Rate paid (in Sterling/Euros) is for supply into Germany. Expenses will be paid for business travel if required at other sites (eg Fucino, Portsmouth etc.). Expenses will be paid in the same currency as the fee.
