Projektkurzbeschreibung: A BW-on-HANA project is entering a new phase, with the main goal of bringing it to a higher Service Level by e.g. implementing a state of the art Disaster Tolerance/Disaster Recovery solution for HANA and fine-tuning the related operational processes and tools.

Aufgabenbeschreibung: EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
As IT Senior Technology Consultant you will be responsible for the:
- Delivery of a complex SAP BW-on-HANA Landscape by providing technical expertise and support
- Setup and implementation of SAP technologies
- Proper documentation, definition of technical operational concepts and guidelines for the implemented SAP landscapes and roll out of this information/knowledge to the rest of the team
- Coordination with international teams in a global project involving several organizational units
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 years of experience as Technical SAP NetWeaver Consultant (ABAP and Java Basis Administration): Level E4 Advanced (5 to 6 years of experience)
- Experience with SAP BW systems
- Strong working knowledge in Linux (SLES) and Windows Operating Systems
- Strong working knowledge in at least one database platform (preferably MaxDB or DB2)
- Experience with High Availability and Disaster Tolerance configurations
- HANA know-how and experience would be an advantage
- Project experience in an international environment
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Master 19s degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics
- Solid know-how on SAP and Database Technologies (SAP NetWeaver certification highly beneficial)
- Ability to work effectively in international and virtual teams
- Capacity to continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent, proactive way
- Good analytical and solution oriented thinking
- Very good communication and networking skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Very good English language skills
