Oracle DBA, Database Administrator contract position in Munich, English speaking business environment. German language skills, though of advantage, are NOT necessary.
Essential skills:
- Oracle 10g/11g
- Oracle production support, 5 years + operational experience
- Oracle RAC
- Oracle internals
- Oracle troubleshooting (using AWR/ASH)
- Oracle Data Guard
- Oracle RMAN
- Linux (preferably Red Hat) platform familiarity
- Unix platform familiarity
- Fluent English, written and spoken
Desirable skills:
- Golden Gate exposure will be of advantage
- Scripting skills, Perl or Python preferred
- Experience of working in large scale environments
- Experience of working in multiple critical environments
- Experience of working on 10g to 11g migrations of advantage
Role:
You will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of the Oracle databases. Additional role requirements include planning, system development/tuning and troubleshooting
