We are looking for a senior Sybase ASE Developer. The working scope is to implement improvements for existing monitoring modules. This requires very advanced (min. 3-5 years) Sybase ASE knowledge. Sybase V. 15.7 preferred.The required programming languages are: PERL, ABAP OO , ABAP (optional) along with SOAP webservices.
Operating systems: Linux SLES (Suse Linux Enterprise Server) and Windows Server.
Not all programming languages (e.x ABAP) are mandatory, but would be a plus. PERL and webservice are knock outs.

- Performance improvements
- Increase database support (e.g. Sybase ASE, DB2 V10)
- Security feature improvements (e.g. ACL deployment management, hardening development landscape)
- Enablement of next demo cloud (fenced environments)
- Hana Adoption (from BW I&E)
Backup Mon/File System Mon:
- Performance improvements
- Process reliability (SISM->CSS, Backup Config, Backup retention time)
- Saved backups per Client (retention end and billing),
- ing - process reliability
- Harmonization of agents and agent infrastructure (Backup Agent, Sysmon-Agent/Sysmon Framework)
- Increased automation of manual tasks (e.g. ad-hoc backups, scheduled backup in 7 hours from now )
