For one of our clients we are looking for a Senior Configuration Management Analyst (m / f) with the following skills profile:Description of the position:
The Senior Configuration Management Analyst has to fulfill the following tasks:
• Participate to projects where Configuration Management is involved as technical adviser and implementer.
• General control of CMDB data (naming convention, attributes, relations, groups, subscriptions)
• Control/Design of reconciliation processes
• Develop configuration management design for new concepts (e.g. Cornerstone, Volume Management).
• Manage the different demands for reporting.
• Analyze of discrepancy reports and correction of defects
• Cooperation and communication with teams contributing to the CMDB (Server, Workplace, DB, Network,…).
• Development of Health checks mechanism for the CMDB.
• Maintenance of the Configuration Management blue print (process, relation between tools).
• Maintenance of the CI in the CMDB.
• Experience with workflow task implementation is a plus.
• Follow-up of activities in other teams (reporting in India, technical teams in NESD).
Profile
Technical pre-requisites:
• General infrastructure knowledge of distributed systems and storage.
• Practical knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of relational databases and queries (SQL,…).
• Experience in a Service Delivery environment.
• Experience with Sharepoint.
• Experience with ITIL-Processes, particularly with regards to: Incident-, Problem-, Change- and Capacity Management are plus. Also knowledge of Order Management and Volume Management are a plus.
• Knowledge of the tools in place is a plus : R6 (Unicenter), Cornerstone (HP SM7).
Language skills
• Active knowledge of German.
• Active knowledge of English (CEF level B2) because this is the communication language in the region and group.
• Knowledge of French is a plus.
