Deutschsprachiger Pre-Sales Ingenieur gesucht, freiberuflich oder zur Festanstellung bei einem internationalen Unternehmen aus der ICT im Bereich des Performance Monitorings; Start umgehend und längerfristig in Bracknell, UK
Sie verantworten den Pre-Sales Support für die Produkte unseres Kunden und deren Services in Deutschland vom Standort UK aus. Hierbei geht es um UC Lösungen der Firmen Avaya, Cisco, Alcatel Lucent, Aastra sowie der Microsoft Lync Plattform. Hierzu präsentieren und demonstrieren Sie die Lösungen gegenüber Kunden und Channel Partnern in Events und Roadshows, Tradeshows und verfolgen die Umsetzung der Lösungen bei den Kunden. Konzeptprüfung, Planungen von Testinstallationen, Produktinstallation und Konfiguration sowie das allgemeine Troubleshooting gehören dabei zu den Aufgaben genauso wie die teils zugeschnittene Dokumentation
Sie verfügen dazu über sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse, neben Englisch oder Französisch. Sie kennen den deutschen UC Markt und deren Hersteller sowie Integratoren und Partnern, verfügen über den nötigen technischen und praktischen Hintergrund aus einer Unified Communications Position in vergleichbarer Funktion: LAN/WAN, Server, VoIP (Avaya, Cisco), Web (html, xml etc); sind ein guter Kommunikator und können technische Sachverhalte gut erklären. Sie verfügen über ein entsprechendes Business-Netzwerk aus diesem Bereich.

Pre-Sales Engineer required in Bracknell, UK, for a contract/permanent position with responsibility for all aspects of pre-sales support for the client’s products and services in Germany. Products include solutions for Avaya, Cisco, Alcatel Lucent, Aastra and the Microsoft Lync platform.
The position requires a self-motivated Pre-Sales Engineer who will present and demonstrate to system integrator, channel partners and end customers, including at events and trade shows, and then be mandated to deploy the solutions.
Responsibilities
Pre-sales activities, including prospecting.

Delivery of technical presentations and product demonstrations that effectively address the customer requirements and questions.
Planning and execution of trials and proof of concepts.
Product installation, configuration, customization, troubleshooting and diagnosis.
Delivery of training courses.
Creation of customised project documentation.
Requirements
Fluent German is mandatory, in addition to either English or French.

Technical Background
A strong knowledge of the German UC market: major vendors, integrators, partners.
University degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent work experience.
5 to 10 years of IT related work experience
Technical knowledge of Unified Communications, LAN/WAN, servers, VoIP (Avaya and Cisco in particular) and web technologies (html, xml etc), in particular Avaya and Cisco
Initiative and autonomy. Excellent communication skills. Polyvalent. Ability to communicate effectively to technical staff and clients. Quick learner.
Available for frequent travel.
