Aufgabe:This position is responsible for providing technical expertise of the various systems supporting the Clinical
Operations unit of the Established Products Division (EPD). The types of applications requiring expertise
include the clinical trial management system (CTMS) along with supporting software such as a business
rules engine, SAS Drug Development, Spotfire, WinNonLin and other statistical tools such as SAS. Scope of job includes evaluation of system requirements for technical solution, the preparation of systems
specifications and the development, testing and implementation of efficient, cost effective applications
solutions. Acts as expert technical resource to development and support staff, both internal and external.
This job will be an expert on all aspects of the clinical operations and will interface closely with another
technology lead located in India.

particular focus on computerized system validation.
- Assists in managing external service delivery team.
- Acts as a technical expert resource for the external service delivery team in resolution of difficult
issues.
- Guides development efforts, often leading a team of software engineers in configuration of correct
solution.
- Ensures development, testing and documentation are conducted following GXP practices.
Anforderung:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in software engineering, business,
information systems, or a discipline closely related to the client area served.
- A minimum of 7 years IT experience in a large or mid-size company, preferably in Development IT
area of the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Broad expertise in the field of IT, including infrastructure and application technologies.
