Aufgabe:This position is responsible for providing technical expertise of the major systems supporting the
Pharmacovigilance unit of the Established Products Division (EPD). The primary application requiring
expertise are AEGIS as well as the interfaced systems to the vendor supplied ARIS Global Drug Safety
Suite (internally named AEGIS). These interfaced applications include the IRT data warehouse, Cognos
reporting tools, PV Track, GLASS signaling system and the interfaced components between these
applications. Scope of job includes evaluation of system requirements for technical solution, the
preparation of systems specifications and the development, testing and implementation of efficient, cost
effective applications solutions. Acts as expert technical resource to development and support staff, both
internal and external. This job will be an expert on all aspects of the drug safety application suite and will
interface closely with the other 2 technology leads located in India.

- Acts as a technical expert resource for the external service delivery team in resolution of difficult
issues.
- Guides development efforts, often leading a team of software engineers in configuration of correct
solution.
- Ensures development, testing and documentation are conducted following GXP practices.
Anforderung:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in software engineering, business,
information systems, or a discipline closely related to the client area served.
- A minimum of 7 years IT experience in a large or mid-size company, preferably in Development IT
area of the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Broad expertise in the field of IT, including infrastructure and application technologies.
