Currently our direct client, a Utilities operator, is looking or an experienced Offshore Representative.
Organization/reporting line:
The Offshore representative is integrated in the project organization.
He/She is reporting directly to the package manager.
The Offshore representative will, together with the package manager, be integrated in a project team. Given his/her task the offshore representative will spend time offshore on the vessel. He/She will also work onshore: in the Emden office or in Eemshaven.
In case the Offshore representative will be also staffed on specific technical projects (depending on his/her utilization, performance and the general priorities defined by the client) he/she will report directly to the head of the project management or to the head of the technical support.
Responsibilities:
The offshore representative is - together with the package manager and the allocated project team
- responsible for the implementation of the contract as planned by the client
This includes:
- The availability of components as agreed in the contract with the supplier (``contract``)
- The availability of all other information, documents and support that is required from the client to achieve the deliverables defined in the contract.
- Transparency for the client regarding the status and potential challenges regarding the implementation of project
- Transparency on the current status and forecast regarding the use of the budget.
- A potential overrun has to be flagged as soon as possible.
- Activities to avoid claims or cost overruns have to be proposed if required.
- The professional preparation of the operational phase of the project, so that planned budget, timeline and accomplishments will be met.
The offshore representative is - together with the package manager and the allocated project team - to ensure that the supplier will deliver the defined accomplishment within time and budget as defined in the contract.
