Graphics Manager is required for a long term contract with a German-based Aerospace company. Working on one specific project you should be very experienced in the field of 3D modelling and Real Time rendering, software design, software development, test and integration and of course project management. The project focus is a computer-based training system with a 2D or 3D graphical user interface for the maintenance training of the Avionics & Mission Systems. It allows the insertion of faults into the system which can then be repaired by using virtual maintenance tasks. The complexity of such a system is comparable to a flight simulator.Responsibilities will include:
* Management of the whole graphics and respective work packages
* Collection and acquisition of supplementary data needed for all MST graphics development
* Preparation of all necessary statements of works for the graphics packages
* Evaluation of subcontractors proposals and recommendations
* Active support by the establishment of an integrated process for the graphics development including quality assurance
* Analysis and acceptance of deliverables
* Managing all packages in cost, time and quality
* Rapidly responding minor/medium graphical issues of the project team
* Support of engineering tests and graphics integration
* Managing of graphics work items (bugs and features)
* Support during qualification and acceptance tests
* Preparation and presentation of status reports
* Documentation of work
Skills required:
* Excellent Programming in C++/C#
* Understanding of interfaces and software architecture
* Deep knowledge of 3D graphics and modelling (3D Studio Max, OpenSceneGraph, OpenGL, Shading Languages)
* Knowledge of Visual Studio 2012, 3D-StudioMax 2012, PDM Teamcenter VisMockup Team Foundation Server (TFS) is beneficial
* Profound knowledge in A/C avionics simulation desired
* Team-oriented and structured working
* Fluent in spoken and written English and German
