German-speaking Software Engineer with C/C++ programming experience is needed for a long term contract opportunity in Germany. Working with a leading Aerospace company you will be designing new technical features and upgrading existing software as part of a high-performance portable simulation framework.Responsibilities will include:
*Additional development of an existing recording system component
* Completion of existing and on-going system designs
* Completion of basic functionality for reading and setting simulation model internal data
* Implementing an interface for reading and setting the simulation model to the relevant external data
* Upgrade network system components
* Implement a dynamically adjustable filter optimized for packet transport within the published/subscribed architecture
* Development of a system component for providing distributed simulation based on environmental network system component
* Design a model interface for the access to the data (terrain, weather, entities, navigation data, vision system data)
Skills Required:
* Very extensive experience in C/C + + programming
* System/system-related programming on Linux (POSIX) and Windows (Win32)
* Experience in developing and optimizing code multi-threaded/multi-core
* Experience with socket programming experience in frameworks/architectures and component technologies
* Experience in Scripting languages (Python) is an advantage
* MS Office
* English and German Language Skills
* Prior development experience in the Aerospace sector is preferred
